Scholarship Overview
The
Rotary Club of Scottsdale is the largest Rotary Club in the
East Valley. Through its Foundation it awards annual scholarships
to outstanding graduating seniors attending Scottsdale Unified School
District high schools. The scholarship program is a district-wide
competition honoring outstanding achievement in seven separate
categories, plus the Norval O. Tyler Scholarship (which is named after
an outstanding Rotarian). Students nominated by the five Scottsdale
Unified School District high school staffs compete for
scholarships in each category. Each school may nominate no more than two people in each category. Students must attend an accredited
Arizona educational institution. Scholarships will be paid directly to the institution on the winner's behalf.
